THESE GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PLAYERS
BECAME GRAND PLAYERS THIS SEASON

Seniors Allison Skrec of Roselle Catholic, Jakoya Duggans of Roselle, Emily Cristaldi of Summit and Gina Trani of Johnson all scored their 1,000th
point in conference victories this season.

Skrec finished with an all-time, school-best - boys’ included - record of 1,338 points. She
scored 491 points in 26 games for an 18.89 average this season and
netted her 1,000th point in a home win against Governor Livingston Jan.

Duggans came back from missing four games to reach 1,000 points in a road win at Cranford on Feb. 5. She finished her high
school career with 1,144.

Cristaldi finished third all-time on the girls’ list at Summit, pouring in 1,202. She set the school record
this season with a Union County-best 591 points and averaged 21.89 in 27 games. The old
record was 538 set in 1995 by Renee Green in her senior season. Lindsay
Burns, also a 1995 graduate, is the all-time leader with 1,382. Green
is second at 1,220.
Cristaldi gained her 1,000th point in a home win vs. Linden on Feb. 13.

Trani reached and passed 1,000 points in a home win over Governor Livingston on Feb. 27. She finished with 1,076.
